First time to show my car at goodguys indy 2010.was thinking about camping across the street. showing up early friday to set up camp and then drive over.(GOOD OR BAD IDEA)

If you want a good camping spot, you need to get there a lot earlier than Friday morning.

I'd keep my eye on the weather as well. GG Indy weekend is notorious for monsoon like rains and the camping area, along with everything else gets very, very muddy.
